Diş temizleme, zamanla dişlerde meydana gelen plağın ve tartarın dişlerden arındırılması işlemi olarak tanımlanır. Tartar veya diş taşlarının dişte birikmesine izin verilirse, zamanla bakteri oluşumu meydana gelir. Dişlerin temizlenmesi ve parlatılması işlemlerinin temel amacı, diş yüzeyinin pürüzsüz ve temiz hale getirilmesidir. Thus, bacteria cannot damage the teeth and threaten dental health.

The cleaning process is known as the most effective method to prevent gum diseases. Because in order to cope with gum diseases, plaques, tartars and bacteria in the gum pocket must be removed from the oral environment. These harmful formations are removed as a result of interventions with ultrasonic devices or appropriate hand tools. These tools do not damage the tooth enamel. Air, water and a special cleaning powder that is sprayed are also used to remove tartar.

    Tooth Yellowing Causes

The outer layer of the tooth is called enamel. The colour of natural teeth is created by the reflection and scattering of light from the enamel, which combines with the colour of the dentin underneath. Your genes influence the thickness and smoothness of the enamel. Thinner enamel allows more of the dentin colour to show through. Having a smoother or rougher enamel also affects the reflection of light and therefore the colour.

Every day a thin layer forms on the enamel and removes stains. Enamel also contains pores that can trap stains.

The most common causes of yellowing or staining of teeth are:
SmokingDrinks such as coffee, cola, tea and red wine
Not Taking Good Care of Teeth

As we get older, the enamel becomes thinner and the dentin darkens, making the teeth less shiny.

It is also possible to have stains inside the tooth. These are called intrinsic stains. For example, exposure to too much fluoride as a child while the teeth are developing can cause intrinsic stains. Other causes include tetracycline antibiotics. Teeth are still developing at an early age. Trauma can also darken a tooth.

Other dental problems can affect the success of teeth whitening. For example, caries must be treated before teeth are whitened. This is because the bleaching solution can pass through the decayed areas and reach the inner parts of the tooth. If your gums have receded, the exposed roots of your teeth may appear yellow or discoloured. Whitening products do not make them whiter.

If you have tooth decay or receding gums, whitening can make your teeth sensitive. Whitening also does not work on ceramic or porcelain crowns or veneers.

    Bleaching Process & Operational Process

Whitening is done in dental clinics. For whitening in the clinic, our dentist will probably take X-rays of your teeth first. This step will help the patient monitor the progress of the treatment. Our dentist will also examine your teeth and ask you questions to find out the cause of the staining.

Next, the dentist or dental hygienist will clean your teeth. This will remove the film of bacteria, food, and other substances that build up on your teeth and contribute to the staining. Once this is done, the whitening process begins.

If you want to whiten your teeth but do not know exactly how to proceed, you can consult our clinic.
